About

HomeFront Rising is a cultural revival led by civic-minded military veterans and their allies. Focusing on the arts and security (including economic, housing, food and health issues), we foster mutually beneficial business and personal relationships between veterans and non-veterans. Our U.S. Tour of Duty is a nationwide effort to apply the mindset and training of veterans to civilian life. We facilitate debate and discussion about issues of the day, and harness the skills of veterans for the greater good from incubation to strategic deployment.

Our Veterans Community Theater workshop trains veterans to work as stage managers in Los Angeles theaters. Our Mentoring program connects veterans who are pursuing a career in the entertainment/media field with established professionals. Our Artist Residencies provide accommodations at no charge to artist-veterans who want to experience the rich culture of New Orleans while creating art or art therapy for the community. Our Art Therapy workshops tap into creativity to help veterans meet the challenges of everyday life. We also present free concerts for veterans at VA hospitals and veterans' housing communities, and paid admission concerts for the public with proceeds from ticket sales supporting services for veterans.

HomeFront Rising is managed by Fulcrum Arts, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Donations to HomeFront Rising are tax deductible to the full extent of the law under Federal ID 95-2540759.
